Villa Torre del Falco
Villa with its own tower, gardens,
pool and lake
A long avenue bordered with magnificent trees forms the splendid approach to Torre del Falco, an imposing late 19th-century villa a few kilometres from the sea in the west of Sicily. Built entirely of ancient stone, the villa is dominated by the distinctive tower for which it is named, and surrounded by a magnificent garden planted with olive and citrus trees, palms and cypresses.
There is also a beautifully tended lawn with a large swimming pool ( 15x 8). The gentle sound of water running into a small lake surrounded by papyrus and bamboo, completes the idyllic picture…
The interior of the villa is decorated with a sophisticated mix of old and new, while at the same time being functional and comfortable. The villa is laid out on two levels connected by a distinctive stone staircase. Reception rooms and kitchen are on the ground floor, the bedrooms upstairs.

This is a beautiful, historic villa, with enchanting grounds — idea for anyone seeking the romance of rural Sicily. There is utter peace, yet you are just a short drive from the coast, with superb beaches and the magical temples of Selinunte. The area is known for its vineyards and olive groves — we loved visiting the Planeta vineyard for tastings — and even cookery courses.
Torre del Falco is ideal for large groups of friends who want to spend a holiday together while preserving some independence. Indeed, within the same grounds, though totally independent and each with its private pool, there are three further villas which together can sleep 18
