This little beach house may be simple, but with only its luxuriant garden between you and the crystalline Tyrrhenian sea, it is a very special place indeed. The interiors are exactly what you’d expect of a beach house — blue and white and luminous — and outside, as well as the beautifully tended garden, is a gazebo, a shaded terrace with kitchen and dining table, a children’s play area and a terrace overlooking the sea. The beach, reached through the garden gate, is pebbly — so bring swimming shoes. The owners provide guests with chaise longues as well to take to the beach.

We like

The breathtaking sunsets from this quiet beach. Dinner in the evening — which can be made by a talented local cook The ease of living in the villa — it is perfectly adapted to outdoor and beach life. Sampling local cuisine (salami, wild boar and wild mushrooms) in Nebrodi mountain village trattorias. The typical Sicilian ceramics on sale from the workshops of Santo Stefano di Camastra.
