Villa Regalenci
Super-comfort with a panoramic view,
huge garden and swimming pool
Perched on a hill overlooking the gulf of Punta Raisi, the views from Villa Regalenci – especially at sunset – are something you will never forget.
A huge terraced garden surrounds the house, planted with cacti and succulents and decorated with antique Sicilian majolica tiles, amphorae and sculptures. One of the terraces is a large, kidney-shaped swimming pool (17mx9m), with hydromasssage bath, changing rooms and bathroom. The garden continues, with a shady grove of centuries-old olive trees, the ideal place for anyone seeking peace and quiet.
The interior is spacious and comfortable, flooded with light from large windows, each of which frames a view, postcard-like. There are two large living rooms, one with TV area, the other with fireplace, dining area with adjoining bar, and a large, perfectly-equipped kitchen. Particular attention has been paid to the bedlinens which are all of excellent taste and quality.
On the same level are six double bedrooms, some with a view over the gulf, and five bathrooms. From the living room there is access to a large, furnished terrace with outside kitchen and dining area, ideal for long summer dinners.
The furniture is simple and functional, with the occasional typical Sicilian piece.
At the moment the swimming pool is overlooked by the neighbouring property – rarely inhabited – but the owners have planted trees to create a barrier – although naturally they will take some time to grow!
