Magnificent villa in Taormina with stunning
infinity pool and breath-taking views

Villa Nereidi stands on a rocky ridge overlooking Taormina, just a 15-minute walk from the charming historic centre of this delightful hill-town. Wonderfully quiet, and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful land- and seascapes, Nereidi is the kind of place where guests find themselves slowing down, with time to notice things that might otherwise pass them by, like the myriad shifts in the colours of land and sea over a single day.

Find out more

Nereidi is a home where attention has been paid to the smallest details. Furnished with fine furniture and unique antique treasures, the villa also has outdoor spaces that are both elegant and practical, and, thanks to its enviable cliff-top position, intoxicating views over the bays of Mazzarò to the cape of Sant’Alessio and across the Strait of Messina to the coast of Calabria. Large windows allow guests to experience the spectacle even from inside the villa at any and every time of the day.

On the ground floor, a large, cleverly divided open space houses a dining area, which can accommodate up to 10 people in absolute comfort, and a large lounge furnished with elegant antiques, including a marvellous Hoffman grand piano. The dining room leads to a large, ultra-modern and hyper-equipped kitchen and pantry. A guest bathroom completes the ground floor.
Upstairs is the sleeping area: a suite with double bed, a relaxation lounge, a study, a dressing room, and separate bathrooms for men and women (the women’s has a jacuzzi). Also on the upper floor there is a further double bedroom, a convertible twin bedroom, and a single bedroom, all with ensuite bathroom and TV.

Nereidi is characterized by large windows which open onto a portico, the true heart of the house, fully furnished with sofas and armchairs, a large dining table, and a spacious outdoor kitchen with oven and barbecue. A more conducive place to enjoy moments of conviviality, relaxation, daydreaming and conversation would be hard to imagine. A splendid infinity pool — that magically seems to unite with the blue of sky and sea – adds yet another dimension. External stairs lead from the garden to a small annex, with a single bedroom, en suite bathroom and TV. On the opposite side from the annex there is a fully equipped fitness area for guests.

We like

The feeling of always living in contact with the sea thanks to the unique position of the villa and a view that takes your breath away.
Preparing pizza with friends to bake in the traditional stone oven.
Watching shooting stars from the poolside, and if you are lucky, an eruption of Etna.
Falling asleep watching the moon over the sea and waking up with the sunrise flooding the horizon.
Living in absolute comfort.
The luxury of going to see a show at the Greek Theater, on foot.
