Luminous apartment in a Baroque palace
in the centre of Noto

Casa Vasquez is an apartment within an aristocratic palazzo just off the main Corso of historic Noto. From its balconies there are views over the Baroque domes and rooftops of Noto – all built of a distinctive local stone that shifts from apricot to gold to orange with the changing light.

The apartment is spacious, elegant, contemporary and comfortable – the perfect place from which to experience the enchanting atmosphere and history of Noto. Noto is the most significant of the eight south-eastern Sicilian towns which were declared World Heritage sites for their Baroque architecture by UNESCO in 2001, and has become a sought-after destination for elite travellers seeking art, culture and fine gastronomy.
Although resolutely contemporary, the apartment’s atmosphere and design are deeply rooted in history, fusing state-of-the-art elegance and glamour with the sobreity and use of space typical of the Sicilian aristocratic home. The hosts have a fantastic eye for detail, using carefully selected pieces of designer furniture, original paintings and precious natural fabrics to create a space that is both harmonious and enveloping.

Your villa at a glance

Casa Vasquez has an area of about 180 square metres on two floors:
On the first floor the entrance leads into a living room with TV zone and conversation area. Light floods in through a window and balcony looking out over the city.
From here, as is typical in aristocratic Sicilian houses, you proceed to the other rooms:

  • a dining room;
  • a well-equipped kitchen;
  • a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private internal terrace and a second bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

On the lower floor, with its own entrance, and so absolutely private, is a third double bedroom with bathroom and shower.
