Past the entry gate and you’ll emerge in a paradisiacal environment: a verdant and luscious garden transforms the villa into a sublime and secret refuge from the outside world. The large swimming pool, with breathtaking views, tempts guests to spend the most pleasurable summer days basking in the water while enjoying the a soft sea breeze.
The facade of the villa is equally majestic, recalling its noble and antique past. Inside, guests are immediately welcomed by rooms filled with golden summer sunlight, filtering through the large windows and illuminating every angle of the house. The white marble pavements only add to the lustre and timelessness of this regal establishment.
The owners have furnished the villa with objets d’arts and antiques from their numerous travels around the world, creating an intriguing and storied space.

The vast living room, filled with spaces to relax and chat, extends all the way to the dining room and the very modern, well-equipped kitchen, the whole space framed by windows which offer up the breathtaking views of the sea and the island of Ortigia which the house is famous for, creating a perfect harmony between the outside and the inside. The crowning glory of the living space is its large and elegant fireplace, which only adds to the comfortable and welcoming ambience.

On the same floor, the four en suite bedrooms offer, respectively, two views of the sea and two views of the garden. Each room is furnished with precious and unique objects, crafting an experience of constant discovery and delight. The floor is completed by a guest bathroom.
The master bedroom is a true refuge, flooded with sunlight from its large windows, and presenting guests with a sweeping view of the Mediterranean sea. It includes another fireplace.
A staircase connects the ground floor to the top floor, where you’ll find another en suite bedroom with a second adjacent room, perfect for families with children.

The large outside spaces, elegantly furnished with umbrellas by the poolside and by the jacuzzi, further add to this oasis of comfort and relaxation. Guests can expect a unique experience even in the covered outside spaces, where they’ll find a kitchen and a fireplace, perfect for aperitivi or dinner parties, whether in summer or in winter. A short walk away you will find La Pillirina beach, a Siracusan gem, known for its golden sands and crystalline waters, and offering further views of Ortigia. The beach is separated from the villa only by a short walk trough the marine and nature park surrounded by mediterranean vegetation providing a panoramic walk infused with the true scents of Sicily.

Things to do

  • The island of Ortigia (Siracusa) now linked to the mainland by a short bridge, was the first part of Siracusa to be settled, and is today a jewel of Sicilian Baroque, though also retaining fascinating traces of its ancient Greek and medieval past.
  • The most interesting area on the mainland is the archeological zone, which includes one of the largest Greek theatres in Italy, whose excellent acoustics you will experience if you manage to attend the annual season of ancient Greek drama.
  • The incredible Baroque towns of the Val di Noto (also with UNESCO world heritage status)
  • The captivating nature reserve, L’Oasi di Vendicari.
  • Wine tasting and visit at Buonivini of Planeta winery.
  • The fisherman village of Marzameni.
  • The Baroque Historic centre of Catania.
  • Etna Volcano and Taormina about  one hour driving
