This magnificent detached property is in Sampieri’s old town, a small beach village which faces the sea and boasts a long, golden stretch of sandy coastline, perfect for guests looking for a gorgeous beach holiday. Sampieri is part of the Scicli coast in the area of Ragusa.  Aliga is situated in the calmest and most picturesque part of Sampieri, an area characterised by its old stone houses and traditional artisan boutiques. The historic centre, with its narrow streets and colourful buildings, preserves the authentic and typical Sicilian atmosphere which you would expect. For fans of the television series Montalbano, Sampieri is an unmissable stop on the map, with many episodes set and filmed in this exact location.

The house is forty metres from a small beach, and 120 metres from a larger beach which runs for two kilometres down the coastline.

Refurbished to maintain its ancient architecture and design, the villa is spread across one floor. From the entryway, which faces a small piazza above the sea, you can walk straight into the living room with sofas, comfortable spots to chat and relax, and a television. The resin floor is splendidly inlaid, showcasing the perfect blend between the old and the new which characterises this villa. One corner of the living room is furnished with wicker chairs, which you can also bring outside to the piazza to enjoy an aperitivo and enjoy the sunset as you wish.

Nextdoor to the living room, you’ll find a comfortable dining room with an adjustable table, able to accommodate 8-12 people.

Along the corridor, you’ll find the three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with its own dining table. From the kitchen, through the doorway, you’ll have access to a shaded garden, furnished with everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed: a hammock, outdoor furniture, and an outside shower surrounded by jasmine and bouganvillea flowering plants. In the kitchen, a small stairway leads to the service quarters with a large laundry room.
